Ferry Service in Sipoo as of 11.7.

The Southwest Finland Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment announced on 10.7. that the contract for the Porvoo and Sipoo ferry route has been terminated due to the service provider’s difficulties in fulfilling their duties. On the Sipoo route, the service will be operated by Sibbo Skärgårdstrafik as of 11.7. Orders can be made by phone at 040 580 3939. Routes and timetables remain the same as previously with Pörtö Line. The boat can accommodate up to 12 people at a time and departs from Kalkkiranta and will travel the Norrkullalandet and Gumbostrand routes. Detailed timetables and route areas can be found here. It is currently not possible to reach the Söderskär’s lighthouse. FRS Finland operates the routes to Kaunissaari Island, with the departure piers are located in Aurinkolahti and Kalkkiranta. More information on FRS Finland’s routes to Kaunissaari Island can be found here.
