Lukkarin koulu
Lukkarin koulu is situated in Nikkilä in Sipoo, close to the municipal centre. The school has classes for pupils in grades 1–6. The school has approximately 170 pupils. The education is provided in Finnish.
In addition to classrooms used for basic education, the school houses a school library, a classroom for music and textile crafts, a classroom for wood and metal work, two small multi-functional classrooms, and a room for special education. We also have a gym and our school yard is equipped with a small playing field. The school gym (280 square metres) can be booked by municipal inhabitants and associations.
The school surroundings give the children excellent possibilities to engage in sports and use the nature in their studies. The school legacy dates back to the year 1906, when the first Finnish-speaking elementary school in Sipoo was grounded in Martinkylä.
