Söderkulla library

Söderkulla library is one of two libraries in Sipoo. Söderkulla library is a self-service library, which means that you can visit the library outside of the customer service hours early in the morning, late in the evening and on weekends.

The library is free of charge and open for all. In the library you can:

  • borrow books and other material
  • read newspapers and journals
  • take part in the municipality’s plans
  • use library computers
  • scan and make copies.

The library has a wireless internet connection.

Our speciality is an extensive comic book collection. We organise comics exhibitions and other events. Exhibitions have been by artists such as Kaisa Leka, Terhi Ekebom, Emmi Valve, Elina Ovaskainen, Filippa Hella and Sebastian Nyberg. You can also view some wall paintings by the artists in the library stairwell.

Söderkulla library also has a terrace, which is open during summer, an art collection by Sipoon Taiteilijat ry. and a well-equipped conference room for booking.

The libraries in Sipoo are a part of the Helle library network. You can search for library material in the Helle online library.
